CUSTOM LUNCH + Learn SERIES
Heather has created a customizable lunch + learn series on topics for organizations and businesses that draw on her 25+ years of first-hand experiences working in a high-stress, high-pressure career as a front-line social worker. Whether your goal as an employer is to provide education/awareness or practical hands-on strategies for your team to (re) discover, obtain and maintain balance and wellness, Heather has you covered.
-
Burnout to Balance
Wholistic Wellness
(Re) Igniting Joy Amongst the Chaos (Busyness)
-
As a professional juggling life, Heather acknowledges that a full day or half day of training might be “too much”. As a result, she will curate a 4-part Lunch + Learn series for you and your team.
Over the course of 4 lunch hours, your staff team can expect to engage in an interactive Lunch + Learn about: Burnout & Balance, Holistic Wellness and/or Re-igniting Joy (Amongst the “busyness”).
With a mix of fun and humour, your team will be led to look inward on themselves to spot the signs/symptoms of burnout, along with compassion fatigue and/or vicarious trauma, while a the same time building practical, tangible strategies to implement what they learn.
-
People usually enjoy their careers and want to be there, but when burnout takes over, it is hard to be present and productive.
Heather hopes your team will build on their self-awareness to re-establish a healthier whole self, which will naturally flow into the workplace and back home again.
With this awareness, they can return to a more balanced self. When a person is balanced and feeling whole, they show up not only in the work environment better and more productive, but they can return home at the end of the day more energized and present.
